Senior Electronics Integration and Development Engineer

Responsibilities

• Integrate and develop electronics hardware for hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) simulation workflows
• Create schematics and layouts for custom hardware including wiring harnesses and PCBs
• Perform hands-on assembly of prototype wiring harnesses and PCBs
• Oversee the transition from prototype to production and external fabrication
• Analyze circuit performance and perform acceptance testing
• Write embedded software for microcontrollers and test scripts
• Contribute to the design of automated simulation system provisioning

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in electronics integration, development, and testing
• Experience with custom wiring harness design and assembly
• Proficiency with laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers
• Basic coding proficiency in one or more programming languages
• Experience using PCBA design tools like Altium Designer, EAGLE, or KiCad
• Experience implementing mixed-signal PCBs with digital communications (UART, I2C, SPI, CAN, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

• Expertise in PCB design for production-ready hardware
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Lua, Bash) or embedded C/C++
• Experience designing high-reliability or safety-critical systems for spacecraft or automotive applications
