Senior Electronics Hardware Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead hardware development from concept through production, including architecture, schematic design, PCB development, prototyping, and manufacturing support.
• Design analog, digital, mixed-signal, power, and sensor interface circuits for battery-powered embedded systems.
• Serve as the technical lead for metrology hardware, supporting electromagnetic and ultrasonic measurement technologies.
• Collaborate with firmware, systems, mechanical, and manufacturing teams to optimize performance, reliability, and power consumption.
• Develop and execute test plans focused on accuracy, noise performance, and environmental robustness.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 5–10+ years of professional hardware design experience.
• Proven experience with low-power embedded systems and sensor-based products.
• Strong analog and mixed-signal design skills.
• Proficiency with schematic capture and PCB design tools (Altium preferred).
• Hands-on experience using lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and power measurement tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with DSP, signal acquisition, filtering, and noise reduction.
• Background in water, gas, utility, industrial, or smart metering products.
• Familiarity with electromagnetic or ultrasonic sensing technologies.
• Experience designing products intended for long-term field life (15–20+ years).
