Senior Electronics Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement power system architectures for quantum computing platforms
• Develop and test power electronics hardware such as DC/DC converters, linear regulators, and power filtering systems
• Optimize power systems for low noise, high stability, thermal performance, and scalability
• Analyze system-level power integrity, grounding, and EMI/EMC performance
• Troubleshoot and debug complex power electronics issues in integrated hardware systems
• Collaborate with physicists, RF/optics engineers, and system engineers
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to internal best practices

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• 5–7 years of experience in power electronics engineering
• Expertise in low-noise DC/DC power conversion or linear regulation
• Proficiency with schematic capture and PCB layout tools
• Experience with circuit simulation tools like SPICE
• Familiarity with system modeling tools such as MATLAB or Python
• Understanding of noise-sensitive systems and EMI/EMC mitigation

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• Experience with sensitive instrumentation or physics-based systems
• Experience supporting hardware scaling from prototype to production
• Knowledge of international power standards
