Senior Electronics Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform component selection, schematic capture, and PCB design for electrical systems based on FPGA SoCs
• Design high fidelity mixed signal audio circuitry with excellent noise immunity
• Define PCB stack up, materials, and design rules for performance and manufacturing
• Conduct hardware bring-up, testing, and root cause analysis using lab equipment
• Collaborate with PCB Designers, Software, FPGA, and RF teams for system implementation
• Ensure designs meet EMI requirements and are isolated in high EMI environments

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum six years of experience in mixed signal circuit design involving audio and SoCs
• Expertise in complex mixed signal PCB design and HDI routing
• Experience with audio codecs and audio power amplifiers
• Experience implementing digital communication peripherals (USB 3.0, 10Gb Ethernet, I2C, RS232)
• Experience designing high efficiency, low noise power supply trees
• Proficiency with test equipment including DMM, oscilloscope, logic analyzer, and spectrum analyzer
• Must be a U.S. Person (Citizen or Permanent Resident)

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering
• Competency with simulation tools for high speed digital and power supply design
• Experience with Xilinx FPGAs, SoCs, and Vivado IDE
• Experience with video codecs and Altium Designer
• Knowledge of compliance standards (FCC, CE Mark, MIL-STD-461)
• Experience with MATLAB, Python, or C
