Senior Electronics Debug Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform measurements and tests on Echodyne radar systems and subsystems to identify root causes for production test failures
• Localize failures to the subsystem level to facilitate rework before re-entry into the production flow
• Compile and analyze test and measurement data, distilling results into key performance metrics for regular presentation
• Develop and document debug methodologies to resolve emergent failure modes
• Collaborate with electrical engineering, systems, and manufacturing teams to ensure thorough root-cause analysis and effective corrective actions

Requirements

• 8+ years of relevant experience performing hands-on electronics measurement
• Eligibility to handle export-controlled data (ITAR/EAR)
• Hands-on experience working with micro-electronics printed circuit assemblies (PCBA) in a lab environment
• Proficiency with RF test equipment (network analyzers, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, etc.) up through Ka-band (40GHz)
• Experience using digital and analog test equipment, including oscilloscopes, digital multi-meters, and logic analyzers
• Strong root-cause analysis skills and experience assessing standard RF metrics (return-loss, gain, noise-figure, etc.)
• Familiarity with ESD (electro-static-discharge) equipment and procedures

• Python experience for interfacing with test equipment
