Senior Electro-Mechanical Engineering Technician

Responsibilities

• Assemble, test, and rework electro-mechanical hardware including batteries, reaction wheels, and flight computers
• Follow detailed work instructions and manufacturing procedures using MES systems
• Fabricate and terminate small harnesses within assemblies
• Support functional, environmental, and thermal testing and troubleshooting
• Set up, operate, and monitor thermal chambers during thermal cycles
• Provide process improvement feedback to engineering and production leadership
• Maintain workspace using 5S principles

Requirements

• 5+ years of aerospace flight hardware assembly, integration, and testing experience
• Proficiency with MS Office and shop floor management software
• Experience working with FOD, ESD sensitive hardware, and clean room requirements
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs unassisted
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive physical tasks
• Ability to work extended hours or weekends as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to read mechanical/engineering drawings and interpret GD&T
• Experience working with electromechanical systems and electrical schematics
• Experience collaborating with engineering teams in development environments
