Senior Electrical Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Define avionics system architecture and complete trades regarding performance, complexity, risk, and effort
• Drive vehicle-level design, testing, and integration of avionics hardware including computing, sensing, actuation, communication, power, and display systems
• Implement electrical system designs that meet system-level and certification requirements
• Own multiple components such as IMUs, air data computers, and batteries
• Manage component installation, verification, and certification at the aircraft level

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, or related engineering discipline
• 5+ years of professional hands-on experience with electrical system-level development, integration, and testing
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to troubleshoot, find root cause, and resolve issues
• Ability to work effectively within a team

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, or related engineering discipline
• Experience developing system architectures and managing requirements across multiple interfaces
• Experience integrating and troubleshooting electronic sensors and components
• Experience designing, drafting, and building aerospace wiring harnesses using ECAD tools (E3, VeSys, IGE+XAO)
• Proven track record of shipping products and completing projects
