Senior Electrical Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Own electrical systems scope for assigned missions, including payload integration and wiring harness design
• Ensure proper power allocation and distribution across the vehicle
• Read and interpret ICDs to guide harness design and system integration
• Support CD&H architecture and requirements
• Interpret EMI/EMC test plans to ensure electrical compatibility
• Develop system component requirements and interconnect diagrams
• Partner with board design engineers and program teams

Requirements

• Strong experience in electrical systems engineering (harness design, schematics, power distribution)
• Ability to interpret ICDs and translate them into interconnect designs
• Experience developing system component requirements
• Ability to interpret EMI/EMC test plans
• Senior-level experience acting as primary electrical owner for a mission or program
• Ability to perform board design work as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Software/scripting capability for debugging and managing hardware suppliers
• Familiarity with CD&H (command and data handling) systems
• Experience supporting multiple missions or programs simultaneously
