Senior Electrical Production Engineer

Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical leadership resource for power distribution operations to optimize site electrical operations.
• Resolve power distribution challenges to ensure safe and uninterrupted power for the manufacturing complex.
• Provide long-term capital project development and planning oversight for the large power grid (2.4-345kV).
• Act as a technical expert during unplanned events and drive implementation of corrective and preventative actions.
• Partner with experts to perform advanced troubleshooting and improve operating discipline.
• Collaborate with the Energy Improvement Director to identify and communicate electrical distribution gaps.
• Facilitate the site Power Systems Review Team and Plant Improvement Team.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements and optimize overall system integration.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
• Prior experience in a power distribution role.
• Ability to work onsite in Freeport, TX.
• Ability to work legally in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% annually.

Preferred Qualifications

• 10+ years in High Voltage (HV) Electrical Engineering disciplines.
• Professional Engineer (PE) License.
