Senior Electrical & Instrument Technician II

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and instrumentation equipment used in process equipment and utilities
• Carry out preventive and breakdown services for all equipment and instruments following company standards and safety procedures
• Perform routine and non-routine instrument calibration (FT, LT, TT, PT, etc.) according to the plant schedule
• Conduct advanced troubleshooting of motors, VFDs, MCCs, and other electrical components
• Coach and mentor junior technicians on maintenance best practices
• Document and record all completed maintenance and repair works for engineering review
• Ensure all activities comply with Standard Operating Procedures, Good Engineering Practice, and GMP
• Adhere to HSE standards, Life Saving Rules, and maintain a Zero Incident Mindset

Requirements

• NITEC or Higher NITEC in Electrical or Electronics related field
• 5 years of relevant hands-on experience (Diploma holders require at least 4 years of similar experience)
• Technical knowledge of plant equipment, main switchboards, PLCs, instrumentation, and calibration
• Demonstrated electronic engineering knowledge and understanding of safe working practices in pharmaceutical, fine chemical, or petroleum industries
• Ability to perform shift work in accordance with operational needs

Preferred Qualifications

• Possession of a PUB Electrician License
• Experience with project exposure
• Certified Class 2 Boiler Attendance Certification
