Senior Electrical Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure high-quality designs
• Oversee department performance evaluations, promotions, and compensation
• Supervise the design, development, testing, and deployment of high-precision VPX circuit cards and design assurance firmware
• Collaborate with other engineering disciplines for design architecture and the integration of FPGA/SoC based DSP processing
• Provide discipline-level inputs to technical proposals
• Evaluate and deploy tools to assist in efficient electrical and firmware design using a continuous improvement mindset
• Grow the MBSE modeling capability of the department to support future product needs
• Assist in troubleshooting multi-discipline design issues

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience leading or managing a team of individual contributors
• Minimum of 10 years of electrical engineering design, development, and test experience
• BSEE/BSCE required
• US Citizenship required (must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance)
• Experience with VHDL and Verilog FPGA Design
• Experience with Circuit Card design
• Experience with GIT, SourceTree, and Jira
• Experience operating or managing in an Agile Development environment

Preferred Qualifications

• MSEE/MSCE degree
• Experience writing Python and C/C++ software
