Senior Electrical Engineer, Water

Responsibilities

• Act as the Engineer-of-Record for water and wastewater projects of varying complexity
• Evaluate, select, and engineer electrical systems and products for assigned projects
• Develop design documentation including sketches, electronic models, diagrams, and construction packages
• Lead project coordination meetings with internal teams, clients, contractors, and vendors
• Manage project scope, budgets, staffing, and schedules
• Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to junior and intermediate engineers and designers
• Conduct quality assurance, quality control, and reviews of project deliverables
• Oversee construction phase services, including responding to RFIs and reviewing shop drawings

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
• Minimum of 10 years of professional engineering experience
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or Microstation
• Strong knowledge of electrical and building codes
• Experience in the water or wastewater industry preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Revit
• Experience with specialized power system software such as ETAP, SKM PowerTools, or EasyPower
• Strong presentation and interpersonal skills
