Senior Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams and execute projects on time, within budget, and with high quality
• Conduct forensic investigations of equipment failures
• Design and analyze electrical systems and equipment in power plants and buildings
• Design instrument test loops to evaluate component failure causes
• Perform instrumentation, data acquisition, and analysis of equipment and structures
• Evaluate materials and composition of electrical components for application suitability
• Write comprehensive technical reports without supervision
• Interface with clients to meet project goals and deadlines
• Mentor team members in the execution of their technical duties

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
• 8+ years of relevant professional experience
• EIT certification is required
• Ability to pass background and drug screenings to obtain security clearances for commercial nuclear facilities
• Willingness to travel to customer or project sites, including potential weekend work
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with proficiency in Microsoft products

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional Engineer (PE) license
