Responsibilities

• Architect power solutions from scratch including LDOs, buck/boost converters, and PMICs
• Manage multi-rail systems with robust power sequencing
• Implement communication over I2C, SPI, and CAN
• Design safe and efficient Battery Management Systems (BMS) and chargers
• Perform battery characterization including chemistry, charge curves, and aging
• Manage the full design cycle from schematic and simulation to bring-up, debug, and shipping
• Collaborate closely with firmware, systems, and mechanical engineering teams

Requirements

• Deep intuition for LDOs, buck/boost topologies, and PMICs
• Experience with complex power sequencing on multi-rail boards
• Proficiency with I2C, SPI, and CAN protocols
• Solid experience with BMS and battery chargers
• Hands-on laboratory experience with scopes, e-loads, and source meters
• BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent hands-on experience
• 4+ years of professional work experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience driving BLDC motors and understanding field-oriented control
• Familiarity with EtherCAT
• Experience working with encoders and torque sensors in power electronics contexts
