About the role

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and test analog and digital electrical circuits, including sensors, signal conditioning, motor control, and microcontrollers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional hardware, mechanical, software, and manufacturing teams to integrate electrical subsystems.
  • Perform circuit simulations and mathematical analyses to support design optimization and verification.
  • Support verification and validation (V&V) activities, including EMC testing and reliability testing.
  • Troubleshoot and debug hardware using standard laboratory equipment.
  • Partner with manufacturing teams to develop production test fixtures and improve production processes.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant industry experience as an individual contributor.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related technical field.
  • Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB layout (experience with Altium Designer is a plus).
  • Strong understanding of electrical engineering theory and analytical problem-solving.
  • Knowledge of electrical safety and regulatory compliance standards, such as IEC 60601-1 and EMC.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the medical device or aerospace industries.
  • Experience with embedded C or Python-based automation and engineering tools.
  • Familiarity with data acquisition systems, optical systems, or motor control.
  • Experience with transition-to-manufacturing activities.
