Senior Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical systems and circuits for new and existing Peloton products, including consumer electronics, motor controls, power supplies, and sensor integration
• Conduct rigorous testing and validation of electrical designs to ensure they meet performance, reliability, and safety standards (e.g., UL, CE, FCC)
• Debug hardware, analyze test data, and implement design changes
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including mechanical engineering, firmware, software, and industrial design
• Collaborate with manufacturing partners to ensure designs are manufacturable and support production ramp-up
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering
• Strong background in power systems, power supplies, and consumer electronics development
• Deep understanding of power systems, AC and DC motors, and line-connected appliance designs
• Experience working with overseas JDM and CM partners
• Understanding of regulatory requirements including UL and CE safety and EMC
• Proficiency with schematic capture and PCB layout tools
• Experience with microcontroller-based system design
• Hands-on experience with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, spectrum analyzers)
• Ability to travel 4–6 times annually to Asia and Mexico
