Senior Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Implement detailed electrical design of the AV system into a vehicle platform
• Troubleshoot, test, and fix electrical and system issues in prototype vehicles and test fixtures
• Perform worst case analysis and simulation to ensure compliance to system requirements
• Generate system diagrams, electrical schematics, and wiring harness diagrams
• Create component and system qualification and validation test plans
• Support EMC certification testing and maintain electrical DFMEA
• Support product design reviews

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in electrical engineering
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and assembly drawings
• Experience with lab equipment including power supplies, oscilloscopes, function generators, and multimeters
• Familiarity with wire harness design process and software tools
• Experience with vehicle communication networks such as CAN, CAN-FD, Automotive Ethernet, and LIN
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills
