Senior Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, prototype, test, and troubleshoot embedded electronics hardware and firmware
• Lead end-to-end design activities including topology selection, schematic capture, PCB layout, and test plan execution
• Partner with cross-functional project teams to drive trade-off discussions and align on electronics requirements
• Research and engage with suppliers to select new technologies such as power conversion ICs, controllers, and magnetics
• Communicate complex power electronics topics effectively to both technical and non-technical team members
• Create Work Breakdown Structures and drive projects toward critical milestones

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• 6+ years of experience in power electronics or mixed-signal hardware design
• Fundamental understanding of lithium-ion battery charging principles and power conversion interfaces
• Strong understanding of switching power supply topologies, magnetics, control methods, and power device selection
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical projects and mentor engineers
• Ability to travel up to 10% for domestic and international business
