Senior Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and develop power distribution systems across high, medium, and low voltage networks for industrial infrastructure projects
• Produce and review single-line diagrams (SLDs), panel schedules, wiring diagrams, grounding plans, conduit/cable schedules, and equipment specifications
• Perform power system studies including load flow, voltage drop, short circuit analysis, arc flash hazard assessment, and protective device coordination
• Select and specify electrical equipment such as transformers, switchgear, motor control centers (MCCs), VFDs, and UPS systems
• Design and implement protection and relaying schemes, including relay settings and coordination
• Interface with utility providers to coordinate interconnections and support grid compliance
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams, vendors, and contractors to support system integration
• Support construction, commissioning, and energization with field engineering support and RFI resolution

Requirements

• 5-10+ years of experience in electrical engineering and design
• Experience with brownfield equipment modifications and greenfield equipment design
• Deep knowledge of HV, MV, and LV electrical systems in industrial settings
• Proficiency with electrical system modeling tools such as ETAP, SKM PowerTools, or EasyPower
• Familiarity with NEC, IEEE, NFPA 70E, and ANSI/IEC standards
• Experience in industrial manufacturing, large-scale mining, mineral processing, or chemical production environments
