Senior Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Own electrical designs from concept through production for robotics platforms
• Generate electrical schematics and layouts for power, digital, and mixed-signal PCBAs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on architecture, production, and compliance
• Design for volume manufacturing and support factory engineers
• Develop engineering test plans and methodologies for functional testing
• Validate power and signal integrity in laboratory settings

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• 8 years of professional experience
• Proficiency with Altium 365, Cadence Orcad, Allegro, and PLM tools like Arena
• Expertise in SoCs, sensors, power management, and high-speed interfaces (USB 3.1, LPDDR4, MIPI, PCIe)
• Hands-on experience with PCB layout for power distribution networks and signal integrity
• Experience with lab equipment including oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and VNAs
• Ability to travel internationally as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering
• Familiarity with Ansys SIwave, HFSS, Cadence Sigrity, or Keysight ADS
• Experience with robotics, mobile platforms, or autonomous systems
• Knowledge of sensor integration (LiDAR, IMU, cameras)
• Embedded firmware/hardware integration experience (C/C++, Python)
• Functional safety design experience (ISO 26262, IEC 61508)
