Senior Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Own detailed board design work, including new digital and analog designs for upcoming missions
• Act as a technical face for electrical requirements, working cross-functionally with mechanical, systems, and program teams
• Work across different bus protocols and electrical architectures of space vehicle subsystems
• Provide electrical systems support including harness schematics, ICDs, and system-level electrical questions
• Collaborate with hardware and electrical systems engineers to manage a growing pipeline of board designs

Requirements

• Strong, demonstrated experience in board design from concept through delivery
• Familiarity with bus protocols used in space or embedded hardware systems
• Working knowledge of space vehicle subsystems and electrical hardware integration
• Ability to act as a technical point of contact for electrical requirements
• Willingness to perform electrical systems tasks such as harness schematics and ICD review
• Senior-level experience in electrical engineering, ideally with FPGA exposure

Preferred Qualifications

• Software/scripting capability for debugging or managing hardware suppliers
• Familiarity with CD&H (command and data handling) systems
• Experience managing external suppliers or vendors for hardware/software components
