Senior Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead and support electrical engineering requirements and construction packages
• Manage and execute electrical design projects including load list development and conductor sizing
• Design lighting, switchgear, overcurrent protective devices, and low-voltage distribution systems
• Oversee backup systems, grounding, fire alarms, lighting controls, and security systems
• Supervise and mentor team members while collaborating with project teams
• Execute full lifecycle support including system design, troubleshooting, testing, and commissioning
• Conduct site surveys and provide on-site support during installation
• Ensure compliance with NEC, IBC, NFPA 101, ASHRAE, and IECC codes
• Develop project deliverables using AutoCAD and Revit

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology
• Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing or consulting environments
• Experience executing electrical power system design projects
• Proficiency in low-voltage (LV) systems design and distribution design
• Knowledge of National Electrical Code and International Building Code
• Ability to schedule activities and estimate costs using MS Project
• Willingness to travel 10–20% to external manufacturing sites

Preferred Qualifications

• EIT certification or PE licensure
• Experience with ETAP or SKM
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
