Senior Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality electrical designs and specifications meeting client requirements and briefs
• Lead professional services in connection with electrical design for allocated projects
• Provide high level technical advice in electrical building services engineering
• Represent electrical engineering in project design meetings and establish solutions
• Comply with relevant building codes, regulations, industry standards, and Kier Design standards
• Promote and implement sustainable design solutions
• Identify and resolve technical and logistical challenges during design and construction phases
• Develop innovative solutions and implement initiatives such as BIM

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Building Services Engineering or Electrical Engineering
• Membership of CIBSE or IET
• Chartered Engineer status or working towards becoming chartered
• Proven experience in electrical building services engineering
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to a wider business audience
• Experience in quality procedures and document control in engineering design
• Ability to pass BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) requirements
