Senior Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, testing, and implementation of electrical systems and components
• Develop electrical schematics, layouts, calculations, and technical specifications
• Oversee project execution from concept through commissioning and handover
• Ensure compliance with international standards including IEC, IEEE, and NEC
• Conduct load calculations, fault analysis, and power system studies
• Review and approve designs, drawings, and vendor submissions
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams such as mechanical, civil, and instrumentation
• Provide technical leadership and mentor junior engineers
• Interface with clients, consultants, and contractors to support procurement and installation

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred)
• 8–12+ years of relevant experience in oil & gas, power, or construction industries
• Proficiency in electrical design software such as ETAP, AutoCAD, EPLAN, or SKM
• Extensive knowledge of high, medium, and low voltage systems
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership abilities
• Familiarity with project management practices and HSE standards

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional Engineer (PE) or equivalent certification
• PMP or equivalent project management certification
• Experience in site supervision and commissioning
