Senior Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design efforts from concept through final production
• Develop schematics, wiring diagrams, and architecture documentation
• Research, design, and evaluate electrical systems to meet operational and performance requirements
• Design and develop cable assemblies and wiring harnesses, including routing, shielding, and connector selection
• Define harness requirements including signal integrity, EMI/EMC considerations, and environmental constraints
• Develop and execute test plans and procedures
• Support program schedules, budgets, and risk mitigation
• Participate in design reviews and support production and integration activities

Requirements

• Active/Current DoD Secret clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field
• Minimum of 8 years of experience performing electrical design on complex systems
• Proficiency with electrical design tools, specifically OrCAD
• Experience with test equipment and troubleshooting

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Space Flight hardware
• Strong understanding of the full engineering lifecycle from concept to production
• Experience with Solidworks 3D CAD and CAM tools
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate in multi-disciplinary teams
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
