Responsibilities

• Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BOM) and manage modular BOM structures
• Use ECAD tools to create and release vehicle components, schematics, and harness assemblies
• Perform design trade-offs and optimization for power, grounding, circuit protection, and thermal management
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical, controls, and manufacturing engineers
• Support the full design lifecycle from development and production launch to field support
• Provide expert input for DVP&R and execute defined test plans
• Integrate Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) including Infotainment, CAD/AVL, and surveillance systems

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Electrical Engineering preferred)
• Minimum 5 years of progressive engineering experience
• Experience with vehicle harnessing, component integration, and CANbus
• Proficiency in CAD software such as Zuken or Capital
• Hands-on troubleshooting experience using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and CANalyzer
• Familiarity with automotive or heavy-duty vehicle design
• Knowledge of DFM, DFS, and Value Engineering principles

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of RFI, EMC, EMI, and ESD
• Experience with Infotainment, CAD, AVL, and AVM technologies
• Experience with configure-to-order products and modular BOM management
