About the role

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop electronic components, control systems, and enclosure/cabinet systems from concept to implementation
  • Build, test, and qualify prototypes of electronic assemblies, including initial sampling and validation
  • Develop test benches and setups to verify the functionality and performance of electronic systems
  • Prepare detailed wiring diagrams and circuit schematics using EPLAN or ELCAD
  • Manage and coordinate certification processes to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
  • Perform safety evaluations of machine control systems in accordance with DIN EN ISO 13849, including CE conformity assessments
  • Generate and maintain technical documentation, including requirement specifications and functional descriptions
  • Maintain master data within ERP and PLM systems
  • Collaborate with cross-site teams and external partners to support product maintenance and quality management

Requirements

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent qualification
  • Proficiency in preparing and interpreting electrical wiring diagrams using EPLAN or ELCAD
  • Practical experience in PLC programming environments such as CoDeSys in accordance with IEC 61131-3
  • Solid understanding of applicable electrical standards, regulatory requirements, and industry guidelines
  • Strong command of English, both written and spoken
  • Ability to work in a structured manner with a high level of accountability and a team collaboration mindset
  • Willingness to travel for business purposes, including international assignments

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in process automation, digital signal processing, or programming frequency converters
  • Familiarity with SISTEMA and SAP systems
  • Basic knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems
  • Proficiency with MS Office tools for documentation and reporting
