Senior Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and build prototypes and production electronic systems, including circuit design and PCB layout
• Develop embedded firmware and manage system bring-up and validation
• Design custom sensing and motion systems when off-the-shelf options are unsuitable
• Apply a scientific approach to engineering by creating experiments and analyzing data
• Own system-level architecture and mentor other engineers

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience designing production-ready electronics
• Proficiency in circuit design and PCB layout
• Experience with embedded firmware development, including microcontrollers and embedded Linux
• Proficiency with Python for tooling development
• Ability to support design choices with data and provide a portfolio of work

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with line-voltage or high-power electronics
• Experience with signal processing and/or digital feedback control systems
• Experience debugging signal integrity and EMC issues
