Senior Electrical Engineer

Fluidstack is focused on delivering massive-scale compute infrastructure for AI. The company acquires power, designs and builds data centers, and operates them with teams spanning hardware and software to support the next generation of AI models.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical oversight of end-to-end electrical designs for large-scale data centers across the full power chain, including MV distribution, LV distribution topologies, and rack-level delivery
• Ensure design quality, code compliance, and alignment with technical standards
• Contribute to internal design standards, specifications, and best practices for data center electrical systems
• Maintain design quality and consistency across a rapidly scaling portfolio

Requirements

• Experience designing end-to-end data center or mission-critical electrical systems from utility feed to rack-level delivery
• Experience working at a hyperscale operator or a major mission-critical design firm
• Deep knowledge of major topologies such as 2N, N+1, catcher bus, and distributed-redundant
• Ability to set and enforce design standards and review for quality across a portfolio

Preferred Qualifications

• PE license
• Proficiency with SKM or ETAP
• Experience with equipment specification and submittal review
• Experience in standards development from scratch
