Senior Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and develop low-voltage battery systems, including battery packs, BMS, and charging architectures
• Lead the development of hybrid and electrified powertrain systems
• Define and specify HV electrical architectures, including wire harnesses, connectors, and power distribution
• Collaborate with suppliers on battery cell selection, pack design, and thermal management
• Ensure compliance with low-voltage safety standards and functional safety requirements
• Support system integration, validation, and testing through lab and field testing
• Create and maintain detailed design documentation, schematics, and validation plans
• Utilize CAD tools for packaging of battery systems and system layouts

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in electrification, EV, hybrid systems, or energy storage systems
• Strong experience with low-voltage battery systems and electrified powertrains
• Knowledge of BMS design, battery pack architecture, and thermal management
• Experience with power electronics, inverters, DC/DC converters, and charging infrastructure
• Familiarity with safety standards and functional safety (ISO 26262 preferred)
• Understanding of EMC/EMI considerations in high-power systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in automotive EV, off-highway electrification, or alternative energy industries
• Experience with C++, Python, embedded systems, and CAN communication
