Senior Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, testing, and development of lightning protection devices including Static Dischargers, Transtrike Diverter Strips, Antennas, and Lightning Arrestors
• Supervise and manage the high voltage Lightning and Electrostatics laboratory
• Perform Lightning Direct Effects testing in accordance with MIL-STD, RTCA, and FAA specifications
• Develop and prepare technical data packages for FAA PMA, TSO, and STC
• Review and prepare technical documents such as test procedures, reports, and technical audits
• Investigate procedural noncompliance, identify root causes, and develop corrective procedures
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop solutions and support new business opportunities
• Perform P Static Testing and provide necessary training to support product development

Requirements

• Proven experience designing lightning protection devices for aircraft
• Experience managing high voltage laboratory operations
• Proficiency performing MIL-STD, RTCA, and FAA specification testing
• Ability to prepare comprehensive FAA data packages
• Must be a U.S. person (Citizen or Permanent Resident) as defined by ITAR/EAR regulations
