About the role
Responsibilities
- Review complex customer purchase orders, technical specifications, and quality assurance requirements to create design, procurement, and testing documents.
- Ensure all electrical components and systems comply with customer requirements, industry standards, and nuclear regulatory regulations.
- Determine design approaches and parameters for testing and qualifying equipment, while anticipating and mitigating potential failure modes.
- Facilitate factory acceptance tests and document the evaluation of electrical and electromechanical components.
- Select appropriate components and equipment based on specification analysis and vendor capability reviews.
- Lead technical support for failure investigations and assist with bid responses.
- Serve as a mentor to less experienced staff to help resolve complex technical challenges.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
- 3-5 years of related professional experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills (both written and oral).
- Strong attention to detail.

- Previous experience working within a highly regulated industry (such as nuclear, aerospace, or defense).
