About the role

Responsibilities

  • Review complex customer purchase orders, technical specifications, and quality assurance requirements to create design, procurement, and testing documents.
  • Ensure all electrical components and systems comply with customer requirements, industry standards, and nuclear regulatory regulations.
  • Determine design approaches and parameters for testing and qualifying equipment, while anticipating and mitigating potential failure modes.
  • Facilitate factory acceptance tests and document the evaluation of electrical and electromechanical components.
  • Select appropriate components and equipment based on specification analysis and vendor capability reviews.
  • Lead technical support for failure investigations and assist with bid responses.
  • Serve as a mentor to less experienced staff to help resolve complex technical challenges.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
  • 3-5 years of related professional experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills (both written and oral).
  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Previous experience working within a highly regulated industry (such as nuclear, aerospace, or defense).
