Senior Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Create electrical design deliverables including one-line diagrams, control schematics, submittal packages, and bills of materials
• Confirm accuracy of project materials quoted to customers by reviewing vendor bid packages and submittals
• Perform branch circuits and feeder calculations on power distribution equipment and size components
• Evaluate existing manufacturing processes and identify areas for improvement
• Collaborate with Production, Procurement, Project Management, and Sales teams on continuous improvement

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in a manufacturing, construction, or project environment
• Solid knowledge of the NEC (National Electrical Code)
• Expertise in low voltage (600 volts and below) power distribution systems
• Proficiency in computer-aided design (ACADE) for electrical schematics
• Ability to perform load calculations per NEC and UL 508A
• Experience using electrical test equipment
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and mechanical diagrams

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with QA/QC and Factory Acceptance Testing
• Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), motion-control, and human-machine interfaces (HMIs)
• Experience with instrumentation
