Senior Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Create electrical design deliverables including one-line diagrams, control schematics, submittal packages, and bills of materials
• Confirm accuracy of project materials and review vendor bid packages for technical accuracy
• Perform branch circuits and feeder calculations on power distribution equipment
• Specify and size electrical components
• Evaluate and improve existing manufacturing processes
• Collaborate with Production, Procurement, Project Management, and Sales teams

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in manufacturing, construction, or project environments
• Solid knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
• Expertise in low voltage (600V and below) power distribution systems
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical (ACADE) for designing schematics and power systems
• Ability to perform load calculations per NEC and UL 508A
• Experience using electrical test equipment
• Ability to read and interpret complex schematics and mechanical diagrams

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with QA/QC and Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT)
• Experience with PLCs, motion-control, HMIs, and instrumentation
