Senior Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and develop embedded electronic hardware, including mixed-signal PCB design
• Architect and implement advanced control systems, including motor control algorithms (FOC, PID)
• Design motor drive electronics, power stages, and gate drive circuitry
• Develop and debug FPGA-based designs using Verilog
• Collaborate with firmware, mechanical, and systems teams to integrate electronics into product architectures
• Perform system-level bring-up, testing, and optimization
• Work with embedded communication protocols like I2C, SPI, UART, and CAN
• Produce technical documentation including schematics, design reviews, and test plans

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional experience in embedded electrical engineering
• Strong experience with PCB design, schematic capture, and layout oversight
• Demonstrated experience with motor control systems and field-oriented control (FOC)
• Experience developing FPGA designs in Verilog
• Proficiency in embedded C/C++ for microcontrollers
• Understanding of power electronics, signal integrity, and EMI/EMC
• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or computer engineering

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with robotics or electromechanical systems
• Familiarity with MATLAB/Simulink for control modeling
• Experience with wireless communication technologies (Bluetooth, Wi-Fi)
• Knowledge of functional safety standards (e.g., IEC 61508)
• Master's degree in a related field
