Senior Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design electrical schematics for automotive, off-road, and defense applications incorporating SoCs, MCUs, power, and memory components
• Design boards using high and low speed digital interfaces (PCIe, Ethernet, USB, etc.) and automotive interfaces (CAN, LIN)
• Oversee PCB layout to ensure compliance with DFx, thermal, and reliability constraints
• Create component block diagrams and manage engagement with PCB/PCBA vendors
• Collaborate with firmware and software teams for platform bring-up and validation
• Develop and execute test plans to validate design performance

Requirements

• BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
• At least 5 years of hands-on hardware design experience
• Strong grasp of digital interfaces including PCIe, Ethernet, DDR, and USB
• Proficiency in schematic capture and layout
• Skilled in using lab tools like oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and network analyzers
• In-depth understanding of PCB manufacturing and electrical system troubleshooting

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building automotive, robotics, or defense real-time hardware systems
• Experience with high-volume production of hardware products
• Experience with safety-constrained real-time HW systems
• Proficiency with Altium Designer
• Experience designing circuits for cameras or displays
• Participation in Formula SAE or similar engineering programs
