Senior Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Review electrical shop drawings, method statements, and O&M manuals against project specifications and standards
• Prepare technical submittals, RFIs, load schedules, voltage drop calculations, and single-line diagrams
• Attend and act on contractor inspection requests (WIR, MIR) and identify non-compliant work for corrective actions
• Monitor project progress, verify payments, conduct site walks, and coordinate with stakeholders and commercial teams
• Provide technical guidance to resolve on-site electrical issues and ensure compliance with safety regulations
• Lead project delivery, ensuring timely material coordination and quality assurance
• Contribute to the development of company procedures and participate in team meetings
• Implement and follow QHSE policies and local regulatory authority guidelines

Requirements

• Minimum 15 years of experience in site operations and engineering consultancy firms
• Graduate degree in Electrical Engineering
• Experience with Middle East projects is highly preferred
• Knowledge of CAD standards and 3D working
• Ability to review shop drawings and technical submittals
• Strong technical competence in concept design, buildability, and construction techniques

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Chartered Engineering status
