Senior Electrical Designer

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced electrical drawing and modeling tasks for Oil & Gas, Mining, and Infrastructure projects
• Make responsible decisions regarding the course of drawing and modeling deliverables
• Supervise activities for large-scale projects or lead teams of up to 6 junior designers
• Maintain effective communication with stakeholders and discipline management through reports and presentations
• Work efficiently using specialized design, analysis, and interdisciplinary data-centered modeling tools
• Prioritize workloads and collaborate with multiple teams to ensure project objectives are met

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience as an electrical designer or drafter within the Oil & Gas or Refinery sectors
• Proven expertise in designing high, medium, and low voltage electrical systems
• Strong knowledge of technical standards including IEC and IEEE/ANSI
• Experience developing single-line diagrams, control and protection diagrams, and layouts for grounding, lighting, and routing
• Proficiency in 3D modeling and interference management
• Advanced skills in AutoCAD 2D/3D, Smart Plan, and Navisworks
