Senior Electrical Designer

Responsibilities

• Design duct bank, embedded conduit, cable tray, grounding, and lighting systems from concept to completion
• Perform NEC-compliant calculations to size conduits, cable tray systems, and pull boxes
• Develop and navigate complex 3D models to identify interferences and ensure constructability
• Route electrical cables in a 3D environment to generate accurate cable schedules
• Model electrical components using vendor submittals and electrical designs
• Coordinate with multi-disciplinary project teams using project databases and review processes
• Act as a field resource to assist construction teams with real-time issue resolution

Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience in electrical design
• Proficiency in SmartPlant 3D
• Proficiency in MicroStation or AutoCAD
• Experience with underground designs from concept to completion
• Experience in cable tray, grounding, and lighting design
• Ability to conceptualize and work effectively in a 3D environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
