About the role
Responsibilities
- Produce detailed Electrical and Instrumentation designs for Water & Wastewater Treatment Plants
- Design and selection of Instrumentation for Water and WasteWater process
- Prepare Electrical Technical Designs & Submissions
- Design electrical distribution and general services including lighting, fire, and intruder alarms
- Design and development of Electrical Panels including schematic review
- Develop automation hardware and system network architecture
- Prepare Cable, IO & Power schedules
- Liaise with Electrical Supply Board (ESB) and clients regarding design queries and compliance
- Prepare Panel FAT documentation and attend Factory Acceptance Testing
- Act as a mentor for junior team members
Requirements
- Level 7 or Higher in Electrical Engineering
- 10+ years of experience in an Electrical Design Role
- Knowledge of Water and Wastewater treatment industry
- Experience with Irish Standards, European Norm, WIMES, and IEC standards
- Strong technical knowledge and IT skills
- Ability to travel to site occasionally for troubleshooting or construction review
