Senior Electrical Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Create bill of material and drawing packages for complex and highly customized equipment
• Perform design, troubleshooting, and commissioning job functions for assigned projects
• Serve as primary technical point of contact for equipment design during manufacturing and testing
• Lead coordination with mechanical designers to develop optimized layouts for switchgear and switchboard designs
• Select and validate components and verify material compatibility
• Author sequence of operation documents and mentor junior engineers
• Work with test and field service teams to verify system operation
• Support factory witness tests and troubleshoot issues in real-time
• Provide advanced design support and identify design risks
• Serve as a technical resource for sales and project management
• Complete short field assignments for troubleshooting or customer meetings

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent professional experience
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a related field

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous field service experience
• Industrial automation experience
