Senior Electrical Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, design, and qualification of dishwasher control systems and user interface control boards for upcoming product launches.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, schedules, and comprehensive requirements specifications.
• Demonstrate concept feasibility through prototyping and complete detailed hardware and software design reviews.
• Develop schematics and PCB layouts in compliance with technical specifications.
• Coordinate control fabrication and qualification with contract manufacturers and manage co-development with global engineering resources.
• Perform root cause analysis, define corrective actions, and manage electronics FRACAS items.
• Complete reliability qualification, growth testing, EMI product level testing, and third-party agency certifications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of electronics design or relevant experience.
• Proven capability in hardware design and troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of firmware and software development processes.
• Demonstrated project planning and leadership skills.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% to domestic and foreign locations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with global design teams.
• Experience using quality and reliability methodologies to improve long-term product quality.
• Significant experience owning and executing design changes involving electronics and software content.
