About the role

Responsibilities

  • Manage and update the Daily 6s Safety Audit Log, monitoring and tracking issues until resolution
  • Perform compliance and system audits to assess project adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulatory requirements
  • Support near-miss and incident investigation processes upon request
  • Provide weekly activity reports to EHS Managers and Senior Specialists
  • Support Safety Committee Meetings, monthly safety walks, and Emergency Action Plan drills
  • Develop EHS compliance procedures, plans, permits, and reports
  • Oversee the EHS Technician team and support operational continuity during leave periods
  • Serve as the primary liaison for client communications, including reporting and meeting participation
  • Verify correct utilization of PPE and equipment, such as Dragers

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience providing EHS support with an emphasis on health and safety
  • OSHA 30 certification required
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Familiarity with manufacturing safety, waste management (hazardous, non-hazardous, universal, electronic), and chemical safety
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams)
  • Valid driver's license and a good driving record
  • Ability to use a Tyvek bunny suit as part of standard protective gear in controlled environments
  • Availability to respond to emergencies or escalations as part of the EHS protocol

Preferred Qualifications

  • Existing or working towards certification as a Certified Industrial Hygiene (CIH) or Certified Safety Professional (CSP/ASP)
  • Familiarity with Six Sigma safety methods
  • Experience recording and writing detailed technical data and reports
