Responsibilities

• Preview projects and project sites before work begins to determine safety-related risks
• Visit active project sites to assess ongoing work conditions to ensure compliance
• Work with project management teams and field workers to develop and implement safety solutions
• Maintain safety-related paperwork, including OSHA 300 logs
• Maintain safety training certification, including OSHA OTI
• Train company employees on safe work practices
• Discipline employees and subcontractors who fail to comply with minimum safety standards

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in EH&S roles within manufacturing, industrial, or high-growth environments
• Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and regulations
• Ability to access heights via ladders or scaffolding
• Strong communication and recordkeeping abilities
• Experience with controlled documentation and change management

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrated initiative in proactively identifying future potential safety risks
• Knowledge of specific skilled trades related to steel fabrication and erection
