Senior EHS Engineer

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain EHS programs in compliance with Malaysian regulations and AMD policies
• Serve as the primary liaison with DOSH, supporting inspections, audits, reporting, and regulatory submissions
• Conduct EHS inspections, assessments, and audits to identify hazards and ensure compliance
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions
• Facilitate EHS committees and organize emergency response activities and evacuation drills
• Implement and manage audiometric testing programs and personnel noise monitoring
• Manage scheduled waste and vendor oversight in accordance with Malaysian regulations
• Provide EHS training to employees and maintain chemical inventories and Safety Data Sheets
• Compile and analyze EHS metrics to drive continuous improvement actions

Requirements

• 5 years of EHS experience, preferably within Malaysia
• Registered Safety and Health Officer (SHO) with DOSH (Green Book holder)
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian EHS regulations (e.g., USECHH, Noise Exposure, Scheduled Waste)
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental, Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working directly with regulatory agencies and DOSH engagement
• Experience with audiometric surveys, hearing conservation programs, and noise exposure monitoring
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and stakeholder influence skills
