Senior Editor

Responsibilities

• Edit, proofread, and format complex scientific and medical education content across various channels including slide decks, manuscripts, and video content
• Challenge and verify scientific claims, figures, and tables against primary source references
• Partner with writers, account managers, and creative teams to deliver high-quality scientific communications
• Provide guidance, support, and peer-to-peer mentoring to other team members

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of medical editing experience within a MedComms or MedEd agency setting
• Outstanding proofreading and copy-editing skills with mastery of medical terminology and AMA style
• Experience in data-checking, referencing, and scientific cross-checking
• Ability to manage shifting workloads and deadlines in a fast-paced agency environment
• High emotional intelligence and adaptability to different therapeutic areas

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency with Veeva Vault or similar client content management systems
• Proven hands-on experience in thorough data and scientific statement checking
• Experience in line management or mentoring colleagues
