Senior Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management Consultant (Manufacturing)

Responsibilities

• Design and configure Dynamics 365 SCM to support end-to-end manufacturing operations
• Optimise production control, master planning (MRP), capacity planning, and material requirements planning
• Configure production orders, BOM structures, routes, resource groups, and shop floor control
• Manage inventory and warehouse processes within manufacturing environments
• Support integration with MES systems, IoT-enabled production data, and PIM solutions
• Deliver training and knowledge transfer to production planners and operations managers
• Mentor consultants across manufacturing workstreams to ensure best practice delivery
• Drive internal initiatives to improve go-to-market capability through AI-based solutions

Requirements

• Proven experience delivering full lifecycle Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management implementations in manufacturing
• Deep functional expertise in Production Control, Master Planning (MRP/MPS), and Capacity Planning
• Expertise in Inventory and Advanced Warehouse Management within manufacturing contexts
• Strong understanding of manufacturing models including make-to-stock, make-to-order, and engineer-to-order
• Experience integrating D365 SCM with MES, PLM, and shop floor data capture systems
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to lead workshops and executive updates
• Ability to translate complex operational manufacturing challenges into scalable D365 solutions

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to reporting and AI-driven insights using Power BI, SSRS, and Copilot
• Experience supporting multi-site manufacturing rollouts
• Experience mentoring junior consultants
