Senior Duty Security Officer

Responsibilities

• Work assigned 12-hour shifts providing proactive and reactive patrols and incident response
• Ensure all standing orders and daily scheduled activities are completed
• Enforce Paladin Security and hospital security policies and procedures
• Plan and implement shift work schedules
• Write detailed incident and occurrence reports
• Respond to coded emergencies efficiently and professionally
• Deliver excellent customer service to all individuals, including those under stress or in medical need
• Maintain strong situational awareness and physical readiness

Requirements

• Valid Ontario Security License
• Valid First Aid & CPR – Level C
• COVID-19 Vaccine (two doses)
• Immunization records (Mumps, Measles, Rubella, Varicella, and two-step TB skin test)
• N95 Mask Fit
• English fluency (oral and written)
• Minimum one year of experience in a healthcare security role
• Certifications in Use of Force (UOF) and Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB)
• Legally authorized to work in Canada
