Senior Ductman

Responsibilities

• Install, fabricate, assemble, and repair duct systems in oil and gas facilities
• Measure and cut ducts to required sizes using appropriate tools
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Perform layout tasks and mark dimensions on metal sheets
• Assemble ducts by connecting seams, joints, and parts using sealing materials
• Inspect ductwork for damages, leaks, or defects and perform repairs
• Ensure proper insulation of duct systems for efficiency and safety
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
• Adhere to all safety protocols in confined spaces or high-pressure environments
• Collaborate with HVAC technicians, welders, and engineers

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3-5 years of experience in ductwork installation
• At least 2 years of experience in the oil and gas industry
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Knowledge of different duct types including sheet metal and fiberglass
• Familiarity with HVAC systems and standards
• Physically fit for labor-intensive tasks
• Willingness to work in remote locations, including offshore or desert environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical certification or diploma in duct installation or HVAC
