Senior Dry Utility - Electrical

Responsibilities

• Act as the discipline lead for dry utilities on site, reporting to the Construction Director
• Supervise and monitor construction of all dry utility works including power, telecom, ICT, gas, and street lighting
• Review shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and ITPs to ensure compliance with approved specifications
• Conduct daily site inspections and regular site walks to monitor progress, quality, and safety
• Coordinate and follow up on inspection requests (IRs), NCRs, and site observations with contractors
• Liaise with Project Managers, resident engineers, and other discipline engineers to resolve interface conflicts
• Review and verify as-built drawings, test reports, and commissioning documentation
• Monitor the contractor’s work program and resources to identify potential delays or constraints
• Ensure full implementation of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) requirements
• Support the testing, commissioning, and handover of dry utility systems to clients and authorities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
• Experience in dry utilities construction supervision (power, telecom, ICT, gas, street lighting)
• Proven experience in site-based supervision, inspection procedures, and contractor management
• Strong knowledge of construction standards, authority requirements, and international codes
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings and utility coordination layouts
• Familiarity with HSE and quality management systems in a construction environment
• Demonstrated leadership and communication skills within multi-disciplinary teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on large-scale infrastructure or public realm projects
• Previous experience working in KSA or the GCC region
